Groundwork Center is a nonprofit that had a large legacy website that didn’t work for them. They needed help. It was time to remake a website that spoke its values, communicated its mission clearly, and increased its list by making a compelling case to potential supporters. At the same time, all the legacy content needed a new home.
We got to work. First, we worked with them to create a Story Brand to make a compelling case for why people should support the nonprofit. This became the basis for the homepage content – much of it featured above.
We ported over their thousands of pages of legacy content from a proprietary CMS into WordPress. The design we created is clean and responsive (of course).
Their program areas needed an organizing principle for web consumption, so we helped to organize the content in an easy-to-navigate way.
The result is a quick, elegant, and effective website that does the job and is also hosted on our servers.
