Sanitization Processor

Irvine, CA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 1:00pm (4 hours per day or 20 hours per week)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Pay: $17-20/ph

Our client, a medical device company specializing in tissue and tissue alternative technologies for structural heart therapies, is seeking a Sanitization Processor. This role is responsible for reducing bioburden on manufacturing aids, tools, and equipment while ensuring compliance with microbiology, regulatory, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tools received from isolation and final assembly, including washing, cleaning, and wrapping, for sanitization per department procedures or engineering requests.
• Load tools and manufacturing aids into the appropriate autoclave and/or oven per specified instructions and initiate equipment cycles for sanitization.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs), recording traceable information on device history records.
• Maintain punctual attendance, ensuring on-time arrival and adherence to full work shifts.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and administrative tasks, such as photocopying cycle charts.

Additional Skills:

• Comprehensive understanding of load configurations and autoclave operations for sanitization.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and communicating in English, with strong communication skills.
• Adherence to Environmental Health and Safety, Quality, and Microbiology standards related to cleanroom medical device manufacturing.
• High attention to detail and ability to comply with standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently while following detailed instructions.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in GMP, cleanroom, or medical device manufacturing preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience required.
