As a CNC Machinist, you'll not only set up and operate advanced machinery but also maintain it, demonstrating your mechanical acumen and commitment to quality. Join Flowserve Port Arthur, Mechanical Seal Shop, as a CNC Machinist on the evening shift and elevate your machining expertise to new heights!

Requirements:

• 2+ years Operating CNC Milling equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Run assigned machine to produce mechanical seal parts.
• Machine a variety of metals, a majority stainless.
• Equipment Maintenance and Repair - Help to maintain and repair equipment by carrying out preparations and providing assistance.
• Health, Safety and Environment – Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
• Precision Equipment Utilization – Interpret and use precision measuring equipment/instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
• Instructions and Drawings – Ability to read and interpret drawings, and geometric tolerances.
• Communicate and Exchange Information with courtesy.
• Policy and procedures - Works with guidance to understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience on Mazak or HAAS.
• 2 year tenure with same employer
• Technical Training/Community College OR High School Diploma/GED and work experience
